Glock 7165 - I have no issues with the factory Glock +2 maybe 20 magazines. My Glock 22rd 40S&W sat in the wood and went bad twice and spilled all the ammo. Both seem to have the same problem and Glock is contacting them to look into them. Not sure if the same issue occurs with the 24 9mm magazine, I believe the 22-40SW spring is the same as the 33-9mm spring.

Glock Magazine Insert
The "Plus II" Glock 7151 Insert (marked "+") and the 7165 Insert are not approved for adding two rounds of 40SW to an OEM glock magazine. These parts are designed to fit two rounds in the 9x19mm and 357SIG magazines.
* 7151 " + " floor plate and 7165 " + " plate will not fit 10 magazines except G26 and G37 magazines. "+" Floor adds 1 rd for 40 & .45 Auto & 2 rds for 9mm & .357.

Click to expand... It seems odd to me that since the 40 is the same diameter as the 357 sig, the diameter area is 9mm smaller, but the 357 sig is larger in diameter and only one 40 round is included.

Click to expand... The only dimension that the 357SIG and 40SW bodies have in common along the axis of the cartridge is the head diameter. The mouth is very different, especially with the slightly wider case of the 40SW. The body of the 40SW cartridge is cylindrical throughout its length. The 357SIG case is effectively tapered and has a smaller diameter towards the case mouth due to the bottle. There is quite a difference compared to forcing 17 rounds of 357SIG in a G31 magazine with a "+" extension versus forcing 17 rounds of 40SW in a G22 magazine with a "+" extension.
